Assistant Superintendent – Wild Horse Golf Club at Robson Ranch

Job Requirements: Must have prior experience on a golf course.  Either an internship or previous work experience.  Must have TDA Spray License or be able to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Educational Requirements: Must have 2-4 year degree/certificate in Turf Management or a related field

Responsibilities: Crew supervision, daily scheduling, course set up, fertilizer/pesticide applications, record keeping, equipment calibrations and operation, irrigation repair/management, and administrative duties.

Compensation: DOE. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance the first of the month following employment and 401(k) after 1 year of service. Also vacation pay (after 1 year of service is 2 weeks), sick leave, holiday pay, uniforms, Local and National GCSAA dues, and TDA license dues.

Property Description: Wild Horse Golf Club at Robson Ranch was built in 2001 and designed by renowned golf course architect Gary Stephenson. Currently an 18 hole playable facility, we are in the process of expanding to a 27 hole golf course. Five of the golf holes (#’s 1-4 & 9) on the Palomino course are built out and only maintained by golf maintenance and not used for play at this time.

Currently the remaining four holes (#’s 5-8) are in the early stages of construction.  The team member will have the opportunity to experience the grow-in of four new golf holes this year.  The 4 holes currently under construction will open Fall of 2019.

The team member will also have the opportunity to help assist/observe the growth of Robson Ranch as a community.  The Golf Course Maintenance Department is run out the same shops as the HOA Common Area Landscape Department.  This department manages 125 Acres of high end turf and ornamentals around the Robson Ranch Community. The team member will be able to see a full variety of task from different irrigation software, master planning of irrigation for a community, and different horticulture practices to maintain not just a golf course.

We are a semi-private golf course and retirement community that is still growing.
