Oak Tree Country Club is an upscale private facility consisting of two championship 18-hole Pete Dye designed golf courses. For over 30 years Oak Tree has earned the reputation as one of the best golf and country clubs in the state of Oklahoma. Golf Digest has both in the top 10 in the state. Located in Edmond, Oak Tree has been a pivotal part of one of the most prestigious gated communities in the state. Currently the East Course serves as the host venue for the Oklahoma Open. The golf courses consist of L-93 bentgrass greens, zoysia fairways and tees along with bermuda grass roughs.
The Assistant Superintendent’s primary duty is assisting the Director of Agronomy in the operating functions of the Golf Course Maintenance Department. The operating functions include: turfgrass / plant material maintenance programs, property / asset management, assisting with forecasting and expense management, scheduling maintenance of irrigation systems, pesticide applications, related recordings, compliance of regulatory issues as well as direct supervision of the golf course maintenance staff.
